Power Quality

This course will explain the common power quality phenomenon that will be found on the modern grid.  These Phenomenon include under-voltage and overvoltage, sags, swells, transients, unbalanced, harmonics and THD/TDD and Rapid Voltage Change (RVC)  This course will define the phenomenon, explain its causes and effect and explain the measurement methods used to detect these phenomenon.  The course will then cover how to perform a power quality analysis and safety criteria to observe,  including arc flash requirements.
