This class will discuss the change in emphasis of the meter department in a post AMI world.  New skill sets, new value added by the metering department to the company’s bottom line, and the ability of the meter department to embrace industry best practices in managing their installed meter population in a Post AMI world.  Many tasks that were once deemed core functionality of the meter department may be eliminated and many tasks previously not even imagined may become the task demanding the greatest number of metering resources.
